We went back in time today, from 65 mya (million years ago) to 248 mya, with a timeline at the back of the room. Armed with an artist rendering of their dinosaurs Grade 2 wondered how accurate the colors of their dinosaurs might be, considering that the first dinosaur to have been colored using science was unveiled just at the beginning of this year! (see article) They decided if their dinosaur was one that might have been related to today’s birds, or if their dinosaur might be related to today’s reptiles. Using what we know from today as a reference Grade 2 colored their dinosaur the way they thought it should be colored and placed it on our timeline. Up Next: How have dinosaurs changed over time?
