As heard on NPR Tuesday morning, there is an app for the iPhone called Creekwatch that will allow you to help collect data about our local creeks. Take a picture, do a quick assessment of the area (Is the creek dry? Is there a lot of trash?), push the relevant buttons and send it in! Thanks to Isaac for the reminder. He heard about it too and thought it might be useful for science. And I say, it could be useful for everyone, and its free! Contribute to data about our creeks, have a reason to get outside, and help the Earth in the process. Can’t go wrong!
